Peppermint

A delicious tea, and a great remedy for feverishness, indigestion and soothing a cough.

Latin Name: Mentha piperita

Part used: Leaf

Directions for use: As a general guide use one to two teaspoons of dried herb or mixture of herbs to a cupful of water. Place the herb in a cup, pour on boiling water and leave to steep for up to ten minutes before straining. For further information and recommended dosage please consult a qualified practitioner.

Warnings: Do not use if you have gastro-oesophageal reflux. Do not use if you are in the first trimester of pregnancy.
