Eyebright

Traditional treatment for many eye problems from conjunctivitis to poor sight.

Latin name: Euphrasia spp.

Part used: Leaf

Directions for use: As a general guide use one to two teaspoons of dried herb or mixture of herbs to a cupful of water. Place the herb in a cup, pour on boiling water and leave to steep for ten minutes before straining. Infusion can also be left to go cold before using to bathe the area around the eye with a cotton pad. For further information and recommended dosage please consult a qualified practitioner.
